Manuscript Submission Format
Introduction
To facilitate a smooth and efficient review process, Lex Gazette requires that all manuscripts adhere to specific formatting guidelines. This section outlines the required format for manuscript submission to ensure consistency and quality in the review and publication process.
General Guidelines
- File Format:
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format.
- Font and Spacing:
- Font: Use a standard, readable font such as Times New Roman.
- Font Size: 12-point font for text.
- Line Spacing: Double-spaced throughout the manuscript, including references, tables, and figure legends.
- Margins:
- Use 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides of the document.
- Plagiarism:
- Plagiarism of up to 15% is permissible. (excluding footnotes & Reference’s)
Manuscript Components
- Title Page:
- Title: Concise and descriptive. Should accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
- Authors: Full names of all authors, with affiliations and addresses. Indicate the corresponding author with contact information (email address, phone number, and postal address).
- Acknowledgments: Include any acknowledgments or funding sources if applicable.
- Abstract:
- Content: Provide a structured abstract with a brief summary of the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Length: Typically, 150-250 words.
- Keywords: Include 5-7 keywords or phrases relevant to the manuscript.
- Main Text:
- Introduction: Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and significance of the study.
- Methods: Describe the research design, data collection, and analysis methods in sufficient detail.
- Results: Present the findings in a clear and concise manner, using tables and figures as necessary.
- Discussion: Interpret the results, discuss their implications, and acknowledge any limitations of the study.
- Conclusions: Summarize the main findings and their relevance to the field.
