Dr. Ajitkumar Parmar
Dr. Ajitkumar Ranchhodji Parmar is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Commerce, known for his commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to the academic community. Dr. Parmar has risen to prominence through his dedication to education, research, and teaching. He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from Sardar Patel University, awarded in 2023, where his research focused on market-based performance and financial analytics. Prior to this, he earned an M.Phil. in Commerce (2018) and an M.Com. (2017), both with First Class distinction, specializing in advanced topics like accounting, taxation, and corporate governance. He also completed his B.Com. degree with honors in Accounting and Auditing in 2015. Dr. Parmar’s academic excellence is further highlighted by his success in clearing competitive exams such as NET (2021) and GSET (2017), cementing his expertise in the field.
With a passion for teaching, Dr. Parmar has served as a visiting lecturer at C.P. Patel & F.H. Shah Commerce College, Anand, and Shree B.K. Patel Arts & L.M. Patel Commerce College, Savli. In these roles, he has inspired and guided students, fostering a deep understanding of Accountancy and related subjects. Beyond teaching, he has made significant contributions to research, authoring and co-authoring multiple papers published in UGC-approved and peer-reviewed journals. His work spans diverse topics, including corporate social responsibility, financial analysis, market performance, and the role of cooperative banking in India. Some of his most notable publications include “An Analytical Study on Financial Position of Symbiotic Company,” “FDI in India: A Descriptive Approach,” and “Corporate Social Responsibility in India: Initiatives and Challenges.”
Dr. Parmar’s contributions extend to presenting his research at national conferences and seminars, where he has shared insights on issues such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, market-based performance, and the role of government in fostering self-reliance in India. His presentations, including at the 6th National Conference of Universities Commerce and Management Teachers Association and other prestigious platforms, reflect his commitment to addressing contemporary challenges in commerce and economics.
Throughout his career, Dr. Parmar has received several accolades, including the National Fellowship for OBC awarded by the UGC in 2018 and first prize at the National Case Study Summit in 2022.
