Mr. Himanshu Tiwari

Himanshu Tiwari is a dedicated and ambitious law student currently pursuing an LL.M at Dharamshastra National Law University, Jabalpur. He completed his B.A.LL.B from MLB Arts and Commerce College, Gwalior, in 2023, showcasing his strong academic foundation and commitment to legal studies.
Himanshu has gained extensive practical experience through internships in prestigious legal environments. At the Supreme Court of India, under the guidance of Senior Advocate Pradeep Kumar Rai, he honed his skills in legal research, drafting, and case law analysis, focusing on critical legislation such as the POCSO and NDPS Acts. His judicial internships with Hon’ble Justice R.C. Varshney and Hon’ble Justice Rohit Arya at the M.P. High Court provided in-depth exposure to constitutional law, environmental issues, and litigation processes.
Additionally, Himanshu expanded his expertise during his time at Hammurabi & Solomons Partners, where he engaged in drafting policy updates, research notes, and newsletters. His work included legislative analysis of statutes like the Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act, further deepening his understanding of governance and policymaking.
Beyond internships, Himanshu has been an active contributor to academic and student-led initiatives. He is a member of the Recruitment Coordination Committee and serves as a representative in the Student Bar Association at Dharamshastra National Law University. These roles underscore his leadership abilities and dedication to fostering a collaborative and enriching academic environment.
Himanshu’s academic interests extend to writing and publishing on contemporary legal and economic issues. His article, “India Needs More GIFT Cities to Accelerate Economic Development,” published on Legal Service India, reflects his interest in leveraging legal frameworks for economic growth and policy innovation.
With a strong blend of academic achievement, practical legal experience, and leadership skills, Himanshu aspires to make meaningful contributions to the legal profession. He remains passionate about addressing complex societal challenges through legal advocacy, research, and policy development.
